Honey Sriracha Meatballs


For the meatballs

  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Chopped Green Onions
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Pepper

For the sauce

  • ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. – ¼ cup Sriracha Chili Sauce to preference
  • 1 tbsp. Minced Ginger Root
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 3 tbsp. Rice Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. Honey
  • ½ tsp. Sesame Oil


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tin foil or parchment paper and spray with some nonstick spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients. Use your hand or a large spoon or spatula to combine. Roll out 16 meatballs onto prepared baking sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in the middle.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together sauce ingredients and transfer to a small saucepan on the stove. Bring to a boil then simmer on low for about 10 minutes or until sauce has reduced and thickened.Pour over cooked meatballs.
  • Optional but best served with some cooked rice, a vegetable and chopped cilantro.
