Ingredients

  • Klarbrunn Lime Sparkling Water for serving
  • 4 Individual Flatbreads or Naan Bread cooked on grill or stovetop until crispy on both sides
  • 3-4 Salmon Fillets
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. EACH Salt, Black Pepper, Paprika, & Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Cabbage thinly sliced
  • Juice of 2 Limes
  • 3 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • ½ Ripe Avocado

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F.
  • In an oven safe skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil.
  • While it heats, combine the seasonings and brown sugar in a bowl. Season both sides of the salmon fillets with the mix.
  • Add the salmon fillets face-side down in the hot skillet. Sear 2-4 minutes on each side, until golden and crisp. Flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven to finish cooking until fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, combine the thinly sliced cabbage, juice of 1 lime, and 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Toss and massage the cabbage in the liquid. Season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  • In a blender, combine the yogurt, fresh cilantro leaves, avocado, juice of the last lime, and remaining 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar. Pulse until very smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Assemble the toasted flatbreads with the salmon, broken into bite-sized pieces, cabbage slaw, and avocado cream.
  • Enjoy with Klarbrunn Lime Sparkling Water for a complementary refreshment!
